Is this the world’s biggest estate car?

The Rolls-Royce Phantom V is not a small car. Even with a ‘standard’ body, it’s longer than a Maybach and wider than a Mosler. But for some people, that was apparently not quite big enough…

Enter Harold Radford; coachbuilder of Aston Martin Shooting Brakes and de luxe Minis in the 1960s. The result of the marriage between Crewe engineering and South Kensington coachbuilder is a limousine estate of Herculean proportions. Consider half a Jeep Wagoneer bolted onto the back of a Mulliner Park Ward body and you’re getting there.

This 1960 Rolls-Royce Phantom V Estate (apparently one of four built) is for sale with Victory Cars in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It needs tidying up, but it will be interesting to see how the market values it once it’s back to rude health.
